Landscaping

Ashtons Nursery Landscapes offer a design, construction and garden maintenance service. All work is carried out by experienced horticulturists under the supervision of one of the partners. All aspects of the necessary work are carried out during the correct time of year and to the highest standard.

Design

You the customer are fully involved from the outset to ensure that any design work is aimed at your specific requirements. Initially a number of sketches are drawn bringing together a number of different ideas. Following this stage a detailed drawing can be produced and a detailed estimate given.

Construction

Usually the first stage is to clear the area to be landscaped and remove all waste. The hard landscaping is then completed- the paving, bricklaying and rockery-type work. Only skilled craftsmen and quality materials are used to ensure a long-lasting professional finish is achieved.

Lawns

The correct grade of weed-free cultivated turf will be selected and laid on quality topsoil to the correct levels. Advice will be given on how best to care for the new lawn, when to water, feed, scarify, and topdress as these are some of the necessary tasks that need to be carried out.

Trees, Shrubs, Conifers and Climbers

Depending on the location and the prevailing winds the correct trees, shrubs, conifers and climbers will be selected. This is an important aspect of the finished garden as a worthy design can be ruined by the selection of unsuitable shrubs. As nurserymen and growers we pride ourselves in the knowledge of the plants we grow and their suitability for certain locations.
